* Hampstead: Firefighters from Hampstead assisted Baltimore County at a house fire on Mamopa Court at 11:23 a.m. Tuesday. They were out for five minutes.

Engines from Hampstead and Arcadia of Baltimore County were dispatched to investigate a chemical odor in the area of the 700 block of Hanover Pike at 7:04 p.m. Tuesday. Firefighters discovered that employees working on the addition to Weis Market in the Roberts Field Shopping Center had applied a concrete sealer to the floor before closing the new section. Fire officials said the odor seeped into the open food market. The building was opened by firefighters to allow ventilation. Units were out for 91 minutes.
