Navy slips past Textile, 1-0, for 3rd win in past 4 games

Tim Ogden's first goal of the year, 14:30 into the game, led host Navy (7-4-1) to a 1-0 victory over Philadelphia Textile (4-4-3) in men's soccer yesterday.

Ogden scored off assists from Justin Lemmon and Shawn Moyer, as Navy won for the third time in its past four games.

* Maryland 2, Dartmouth 0: Tod Herskovitz's shot deflected off goalkeeper Brian Wise's hands in the 112th minute to lift Maryland over Dartmouth at Charlottesville, Va.


* Colgate 3, Navy 0: Christy Ficker scored once to lead Colgate (9-4-2, 5-0) past host Navy (5-7-2, 2-3).

* Monmouth 2, Loyola 0: Christi Pearce had one goal and one assist to lead Monmouth (11-3) past host Loyola (6-10). Monmouth outshot Loyola 35-8.

* St. Peter's 3, Mount St. Mary's 0: Loraine Kolibas scored twice and Tracey Due once to lead St. Peter's (10-6) over visiting Mount St. Mary's (4-5).
