October 16, 1994

FREDERICK -- A 38-year-old construction worker suffered multiple broken bones after falling about 30 feet from scaffolding yesterday in a Spring Ridge housing development, the Frederick County Sheriff's Department reported.

Jose Reynaldo Aguilar of Alexandria, Va., was acid-washing brick on Hawkins Ridge Court at about 9:30 a.m. when he fell from the three-story-high scaffolding, investigators said. He was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore and underwent surgery. He was listed in serious condition late yesterday.
