Baltimore Realtors to hold 8th convention

October 16, 1994|By a Sun Staff Writer

They will gather at the Baltimore Convention Center from all over Baltimore: mortgage brokers, real estate agents, title company executives, home inspectors, appraisers -- anyone with any connection to real estate.

The Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors will hold its 8th annual convention on Thursday, where sign companies, computer distributors and even the Price Club will hawk their goods.

The convention starts with breakfast at 8 a.m. and runs through cocktails at 4:30 p.m. In between, the GBBR, the local real estate trade association, will hold seminars on such topics as: the new seller disclosure law; legislation from 1994 legislative session; investing in commercial real estate; and environmental issues.

Mary A. Fruscello, executive vice president of the Maryland Association of Realtors, will offer a forecast for the real estate industry.
