St. Louis makes offer to Rams

October 13, 1994|By Jon Morgan

A delegation from St. Louis met for more than four hours yesterday in Los Angeles with Rams officials, and said the team was interested in what they had to offer.

"We answered various questions about stadium size and the shape it's in and could it be completed by the opening of next season, how many additional luxury boxes could be put on top," said Thomas Eagleton, a former Missouri Senator who is leading the city's efforts to lure the Rams.

He said he did not expect the Rams to decide what they will do about St. Louis' offer until mid to late November.
