Delaware realty firm merges with O'Conor

Doug Davis Realty, a real estate firm serving the Rehoboth and Dewey Beach areas of Delaware, has merged with O'Conor, Piper & Flynn Realtors.

Doug Davis Realty has provided residential sales and rental services to the beach communities for five years. The firm's principal, Doug Davis, will become office broker/manager for O'Conor.

Mr. Davis and the firm's eight salespeople will continue to work out of their office at 323A Rehoboth Ave.

The merger marks the second time this year O'Conor, Piper & Flynn has expanded into the Rehoboth/Ocean City area. In June, it merged with 19-year-old Vernon Real Estate, a commercial and residential real estate agency serving Lewes, Rehoboth and Dewey Beach.

Nancy Hubble named 'Realtor of the Year'

Nancy C. Hubble, president of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors, was named "Realtor of the Year" by the Maryland Association of Realtors at its recent convention in Ocean City.

A sales agent at W.H.C. Wilson & Co. of Baltimore, Mrs. Hubble was among 20 nominees who won similar honors from local boards throughout Maryland.

Mrs. Hubble has served as vice president of the Baltimore Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors and First District vice president for the Maryland Association of Realtors. She has also been a member of the National Association of Realtors' Federal Appointments Task Force.

A life member of the Real Estate Million Dollar Association, Mrs. Hubble holds the Graduate Realtors Institute and Certified Residential Specialist designations from the Residential Sales Council at NAR.

Mrs. Hubble has testified in support of homeowners' and private property rights before the Baltimore City Council, Baltimore County Council and the Maryland General Assembly.

She has worked with the Enterprise Foundation, a national non-profit organization which promotes affordable housing.
