Gunmen mug pizza deliverer in Long Reach

October 06, 1994

A 29-year-old pizza delivery man was robbed at gunpoint as he took an order to an address in the 5400 block of Freelark Place in Long Reach Columbia village Tuesday night.

Howard County police said no shots were fired in the 9:30 p.m. incident and that no injuries were reported.

The driver told police that three men, two with guns, approached him at his car and demanded his cash. The driver complied, turning over his wallet, an undisclosed amount of cash and several pizzas, police said.

The three men fled, and the driver notified his supervisor, who called police. Police searched the area but did not find the suspects. The order had been made from a pay phone, police said.

The suspects were described as slim black males, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall and wearing black clothing with hoods,

police said.
