Some Metroliner service canceled this weekend

September 30, 1994

Amtrak's Metroliner schedules will be disrupted this weekend as work on train signal systems curtails some railroad service to New York's Pennsylvania Station.

The northbound Metroliner that normally leaves Washington at 8 p.m. and Baltimore at 8:33 p.m. will be canceled tonight, all Metroliner service will be canceled tomorrow, and there will be limited Metroliner service on Sunday.

Conventional trains in the Northeast corridor will be operating, except for some between New York and Harrisburg, but passengers scheduled to arrive in New York after 10 p.m. tomorrow can expect delays of up to 30 minutes.

Information on weekend schedules: 800-USA-RAIL.
