Los Angeles Dodgers -- Announced that coaches Joe Amalfitano, Reggie Smith, Bill Russell and Mark Cresse will return in 1995. Eliminated 20 full-time and five part-time positions.

Basketball Chicago Bulls -- Signed G Steve Kerr to a multi-year contract.

Detroit Pistons -- Signed F Bill Curley to a five-year contract worth $5.5 million.

Houston Rockets -- Reached contract agreement with G-F Mario Elie.

New York Knicks -- Signed G Charlie Ward to a five-year contract.

Philadelphia 76ers -- Named World B. Free strength and conditioning coach.
