POLICE

* Westminster: An employee of Leese Auto Sales on Washington Road reported someone stole the convertible top from a car parked on the display lot Tuesday. The value was estimated at $190.

A resident of John Street told police that someone scratched the side of his car Tuesday, with damage estimated at $200.

A Taneytown resident reported someone stole a bicycle valued at $180 from Winters Alley on Monday.

Two bicycles were stolen Sunday from outside a house on West Main Street. The owner estimated the loss at $65.

FIRE

* Westminster: Westminster responded to clean up after a spill in the 400 block of Englar Road at 8:04 a.m. Wednesday. Units were out for 40 minutes.
