THEFT: Northeastern District -- An outdoor pay telephone was stolen Monday from the 2400 block of Belair Road. The phone, police said, contained at least $200 in coins.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Tools, tires and wheels, all valued at nearly $400, were stolen from a 1987 Ford Bronco parked Monday on a lot in the 7500 block of Harford Road.

THEFT: Northern District -- A cellular phone of unknown value was stolen Monday from a 1992 Honda Accord parked at the Gilman School in the 5400 block of Roland Ave.

THEFT: Northern District -- Fifty temporary license plates were stolen from a file cabinet in the office at Ed Rogers used cars in the 500 block of E. 25th St. between Sept. 15 and Sept. 26.

STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A white 1994 Buick with tags YLV 974 was stolen Sunday from the 900 block of N. Stricker St.

THEFT/ARREST: Northern District -- Police arrested a 39-year-old woman who attempted to leave F&M Distributors in the 200 block of W. 29th St. Monday without paying for 32 tubes of toothpaste.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 21-year-old man of $9 Monday in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave.

STOLEN CAR: White Marsh Precinct -- A white 1994 Chrysler Le Baron with tags 451 ADZ was stolen Monday from the 6000 block of Marquette Road.

BURGLARY: North Point Precinct -- Someone entered a vacant house in the 7900 block of Wynbrook Road over the weekend and did at least $1,000 damage to the interior.

ROBBERY: North Point Precinct -- A woman was in the 8400 block of Eastern Ave. Monday when a gunman robbed her of her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $50. The gunman then got into a 1990 Ford Tempo with tags 612 ARA, which had been reported stolen, and drove off. Two other men were in the car.

THEFT: North Point Precinct -- More than $1,000 that the owner had hidden in the basement was stolen Sunday from a house in the 1900 block of Inverness Road.

BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- A VCR valued at more than $500 was stolen Sunday from a house in the 2700 block of Alden Road.

PURSE SNATCHING: Towson Precinct -- A resident of the 2400 block of Smith Ave. was getting out of a car in front of her home Monday when a man approached from behind and stole her purse containing cash and property.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- Coins valued at $30 were stolen Monday from a house in the 19200 block of Middletown Road. The theft occurred while the occupant was taking a walk.

BURGLARY: Wilkens Precinct -- A TV set and VCR, all valued at more than $600, were stolen Monday from a house in the 200 block of Greenfern Way.
