UMBC women win 4th in row

Junior striker Denise Schilte and sophomore midfielder Laura Dvorak each scored twice to lead UMBC to its fourth straight win, 4-0, over St. Francis (Pa.) in a women's soccer game yesterday in Loretto, Pa.

The Retrievers (5-1) outshot the Red Flash 32-8. Sophomore goalkeeper Nadine Henchcliffe made five saves for her third shutout this season.

* Towson State 3, Navy 2: Towson State rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat host Navy and end the Midshipmen's two-game winning streak.

Men

* Goucher 3, Lebanon Valley 0: Radcliff Roye scored the game-winner at the 17th minute to lift host Goucher (5-2-1) to a shutout over Lebanon Valley (1-7). Percy Moore and Seth Bachman added their insurance goals in the 60th minute.
