Teen sought in slayings of bicyclists

City police were seeking a 17-year-old male in connection with the fatal shooting last week of two bicyclists in the 2700 block of E. Monument St.

A second teen-ager charged in the double-slaying, Eric Charles Smith, 16, of the 2700 block of Pelham Ave., surrendered to police last Friday and is charged as an adult with two counts of first-degree murder, police said.

He is being held without bail.

Sought is Christopher O'Neil Jones, of the 700 block of N. Glover St.

He also is charged as an adult with two counts of first-degree murder.

Police said the victims, Gregory McGraw, 19, of the 600 block of N. Kenwood Ave., and Kevin Green, 18, of the 2700 block of E. Monument St., were gunned down as they rode their bikes near Mr. Green's home on Sept. 15.

Police said Mr. McGraw died at the scene and that Mr. Green died at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
