Boys in grades one through five can make new friends, learn crafts, go on field trips and help their community, all by joining Cub Scout Pack 663.
The pack is holding a party at 7 p.m. Thursday at Quarterfield Elementary School. Boys can learn about Scouting, meet the Scouts and their leaders and register to join the fun.

The Odenton Kiwanis Club is holding a bull roast from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the club, 1363 Becknel Ave. Food will be served from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. It will include pit beef, country sausage, baked beans, potato salad, cold cuts, relish tray, potato chips, beer and soda.
Las Vegas Entertainment, door prizes and a 50-50 raffle also will be available. Admission is $12.50.
The friends of Boy Scout Troop 871 in Jessup are accepting space reservations for their fourth annul Apple Butter and Craft Fair.
The fair and flea market is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 8 at St. Lawrence Parish Center, on Maryland Route 175 in Jessup.
