Five charged with drug, counterfeiting violations

The search for a Pasadena man wanted on a charge of assault with intent to murder ended Thursday when he and four companions were arrested on drug and counterfeiting charges, police said.

The suspect in the June 3 shooting of two men in the 100 block of E. Randall St. in South Baltimore, was arrested at his home shortly before 3:30 p.m. Police had been waiting for him since 10:40 a.m. to serve him with a warrant for the assault.

The suspect in the assault, Chris Charles Williams, 21, of the 200 block of Arundel Road and four other people at the house were arrested and charged with possession of counterfeit money and drug manufacturing after police found narcotics paraphernalia and photocopies of various denominations of U.S. currency in the house, authorities said. Scissors and pasting material also were recovered, they said.

Arrested were: Kandy Drenning, 27, of the same address as Mr. Williams, Stephen Mitchell Colley, 24, of the 300 block of Edgewood Road in Linthicum, Joshua Thorn, 22, of the 400 block Arundel Beach Road in Severna Park and John Edward Thorn, 21, of the 300 block of Valiant Circle in Glen Burnie.
