* Hottman Edwards has won a 1994 Telly Award for its spot for the T. Talbott Bond Co. and a Neographics 1994 Ben Franklin Award for its point-of-purchase display for First National Bank of Maryland.

* Beau Simmons, an Annapolis-based master photographer, won Best In Show at the Maryland Professional Photographers Print Competition.
