* POLICE CAR STOLEN/RECOVERED: Western District -- While a district officer was attending a community meeting in the 700 block of N. Warwick Ave. Wednesday night, someone stole his unmarked maroon 1991 Dodge Dynasty while the vehicle was parked near the scene of the meeting. Later, the car was recovered a few blocks away.

* SHOOTING: Western District -- A 21-year-old resident of the 2200 block of Mt. Holly St. was shot in the chest while walking in the 1900 block of Ridgehill Ave. Thursday. The victim was admitted to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in serious condition.

* ROBBERY/ARRESTS: Western District -- Police arrested two men and charged them with robbing a 25-year-old resident of the 5100 block of Darien Road of more than $200 in the 1100 block of Sara Ann St. Thursday. Held at the station pending bail hearings were Paul Alexander, 22, of the first block of N. Stricker St., and Jermaine Shuron, 19, of the 2300 block of McCulloh St.

* THEFT/ARREST: Northwestern District -- Police arrested a woman Thursday after she attempted to leave the Rite Aid pharmacy in the 5700 block of Park Heights Ave. without paying for property valued at less than $5.

* THEFT: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a city-owned vehicle parked in the 3000 block of N. Dukeland St. Thursday and stole property valued at nearly $2,000.

* THEFT: Northwestern District -- Property valued at $300 was stolen from a car parked in the 5700 block of Wabash Ave. Thursday.

* BURGLARY:BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3400 block of Park Heights Ave. through a rear door Thursday and stole property valued at more than $600.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking two men, one known as "John" and the other as "Reggie" in connection with the robbery of a resident of the 1600 block of Northgate Road Thursday in the 4300 block of Pimlico Road. The victim was struck with a baseball bat and robbed of more than $200.

* STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1988 Pontiac Grand Am with dealer tags 1A58472 was stolen from the 3600 block of Milford Ave.

* STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1989 Buick Skylark with tags MAM541 was stolen Thursday from the 3900 block of Calloway Ave.


* ROBBERY: North Point Precinct -- A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed the 7/Eleven store in the 7300 block of E. Baltimore St. of an undisclosed sum of money Thursday evening.

* THEFT: Parkville Precinct -- Police were seeking two men who stole 50 wooden palletes from Home Depot in the 1900 block of E. Joppa Road Thursday. The palletes were valued at $500. The men were seen driving away in a rented truck.

* THEFT: Parkville Precinct -- Two men walking in the 8500 block of Gradien Drive Thursday morning stole two multi-speed bikes valued at more than $1,000 from a deck in the back of a house.

* BURGLARY: Towson Precinct -- Someone entered an apartment in the first block of Acorn Circle at the Courthouse Square Apartments Thursday and stole a handgun valued at more than $1,000.

* THEFT: Towson Precinct -- Someone entered the kitchen at the Sheraton Hotel North in the 900 block of Dulaney Valley Road between Monday and Thursday and stole more than $1,000 worth of assorted style kitchen knives.
