BALTIMORE CITY

* STOLEN CAR FOUND: Western District -- A silver four-door 1985 Volvo with tags BSY 358 was recovered from the parking lot of the Mondawmin Mall Wednesday after it was stolen from the 2500 block of W. North Ave. the same day. No arrest had been made.

* STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A 1986 Ford with tags ANG 752 was stolen from the 700 block of N. Carrollton Ave. Wednesday.

* BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a 34-year-old man after he entered a house under renovation in the 1500 block of W. Lexington St. Wednesday and allegedly stole a set of lights and several pieces of lumber. In addition to theft, the suspect also is charged with causing at least $7,000 worth of destruction to the interior of the house. Held at the station awaiting formal charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner was a resident of the 1800 block of W. Fairmount Ave.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 4100 block of Stokes Drive through the front door Wednesday and stole a VCR, computer game and a safe containing more than $1,000. Total value of the property was $1,620.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A TV valued at $300 was stolen from a house in the 3300 block of Windsor Ave. Wednesday by someone who entered through a first-floor window.

* THEFT: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who stole more than $200 from the pockets of a coat hanging in a room of a friend's home in the 600 block of Linnard St. The suspect was visiting the victim at the time of the theft.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 60-year-old resident of the 600 block of Venable Ave. was walking in the 3400 block of Old York Road Wednesday when he was assaulted by a man who robbed him of $10.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Stereo equipment, a TV and ring, all valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen from a house in the 900 block of Reverdy Road Wednesday by someone who entered through a dining room window.

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1978 Nissan with Virginia tags AAP4704 was stolen from the 3500 block of St. Paul St. Wednesday.

* BURGLARY/ARREST: Northern District -- Police arrested a man who entered a city-owned house in the 1500 block of Baldwin St. Wednesday through a rear basement door. No property was taken and the man was being held at the police station pending formal charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

* STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A green Dodge Shadow with tags ZTD 023 was stolen from the 4000 block of Edgewood Road Wednesday.

* STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- Someone stole a gray 1983 Chevrolet with no tags from the 2800 block of Boarman Ave. Tuesday.

* BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at $200 was stolen from Design Image in the 4900 block of Reisterstown Road Tuesday by someone who entered through a front window.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 5300 block of Maple Ave. was in the 5300 block of Park Heights Ave. Wednesday when he was struck in the face and forehead by a man who robbed him of his property and money.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* THEFT: Parkville Precinct -- Someone entered a truck owned by Atlantic Caterers in the 4500 block of Harford Road while it was parked in the 3700 block of Putty Hill Ave. Wednesday and stole an electric meat slicing machine valued at more than $1,000.

* THEFT: Parkville Precinct -- Between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday, someone opened the safe at the Royal Farms store in the 2400 block of E. Joppa Road and stole a bank bag containing more than $1,000.

* STOLEN CAR: Cockeysville Precinct -- A four-door gold 1990 Acura Legend with tags 431 APP and valued at $25,000 was stolen from the 900 block of Greenspring Drive Wednesday.
