POLICE

* Westminster: A resident of Old New Windsor Pike reported someone broke the window of his vehicle and stole stereo speakers while the car was parked near his house Monday. He estimated the loss at $538.

A resident of West Green Street told police someone stole a $10 plastic flower pot from his porch Monday.

FIRE

* Westminster: Firefighters from the Westminster station responded to three calls of "smoke in the area" within 19 minutes Tuesday night. The first was received at 9:04 p.m. to Route 27 and Kate Wagner Road. They returned to the area minutes later, after another call was received at the Emergency Operations Center, and were out for 10 minutes. The next call was received at 9:23 p.m. and the volunteers responded to the 100 block of W. Main St. They were out for 15 minutes.

Engines from Westminster responded to an electrical fire in the 1300 block of Conquistador Drive at 7:57 p.m. Tuesday. Units were out for 25 minutes.
