The missing items included jewelry, an electric razor, a cellular telephone and an unknown amount of cash.

Shortly after 3 p.m., a security guard stopped a woman outside the store. After being confronted, the woman admitted the theft, police said. She told the officer she was only having fun and didn't mean to do any harm, according to police.

Teresa Ann Thompson, 31, of the 300 block of Marganza South in Laurel was arrested and charged with theft under $300, police said.
