ROBBERY TRY: Northern District -- A woman was walking on Gorsuch Avenue near Old York Road Sunday when a man attempted to steal her purse. When the woman resisted, she fell to the ground and suffered a knee injury. The man escaped.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A woman was closing the gate to her backyard in the 2400 block of St. Paul St. Sunday when a man pushed her against a wall and robbed her of more than $100.

BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Western District -- Police arrested three men who entered a house in the 1500 block of N. Bentalou St. Saturday that had been damaged by fire earlier and stole a cast iron sink, a radiator, clock radio, AM-FM radio and a duffel bag. Charged were James Simbolt, 40, and Carey Booker, 32, both of the 1600 block of Vine St., and Ernest Brown, 25, of the 1900 block of Whitemore Ave.

RAPE: Western District -- A teen-age resident of the 1900 block of Hollins St. was walking in the first block of N. Monroe St. Sunday when a man forced her into a nearby house and raped her.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A 51-year-old resident of the 1900 block of Herbert St. was withdrawing money from an ATM at Mondawmin Mall Wednesday when a man placed what appeared to be a gun to her head and robbed her of more than $300. The woman did not report the robbery until Sunday because she was upset, according to police.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two gunmen robbed a 17-year-old resident of the 300 block of E. 20th St. of property valued at nearly $160 while he waited for a bus in the 1200 block of W. Baltimore St. Sunday. The victim was forced into an alley by the men who reportedly then stole his clothing, pager, tennis shoes, coins and wallet.

STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A burgundy four-door 1989 Buick Century with tags PVC 622 was stolen Sunday from the 1600 block of W. Saratoga St. while the owner was attending church.

Baltimore County

CARJACKING: Woodlawn Precinct -- A 40-year-old woman was stopped for a red light at Baltimore National Pike and Rolling Road Sunday when her 1990 Infinity was struck in the rear by another car. When the woman exited her car to inspect the damage, two men alighted from the other car and were about to get into the woman's car when she approached them and cried out. When one of the men pulled out a handgun and threatened to shoot the woman, she backed off and watched as the men stole her car, with tags RKK 785.

BURGLARY: Essex Precinct -- Someone entered the Outdoor Sportsman in the 800 block of Eastern Blvd. Sunday after breaking the front window and stole three handguns valued at more than $600.
