* Westminster: A resident of Bond Street reported someone stole her purse from a chair while she was in Champs Restaurant in the first block of W. Main St. Thursday. She estimated the loss at $23.

A resident of Hersh Avenue told police someone slashed a tire on his auto while the vehicle was parked in front of his house Wednesday. The damage is estimated at $30.

Two wooden windmills were stolen from the yards of houses in downtown Westminster on Sept. 3, police were told. The windmills, taken from yards on Lincoln Road near East Main Street, were valued at a total of $95.
