County police arrest 3 in Oakland Mills raid

Howard County police arrested three people on drug charges after officers found what they believed to be small amounts of cocaine in an Oakland Mills apartment Thursday night, police said.

Robin Lynn Wise, 32, and James Ross Wise, 42, both of 5800 block of Stevens Forest Road, were charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Robin Wise also was served with an outstanding warrant charging cocaine distribution.

Vickie M. Fields, 39, of the same address, was charged with possession of marijuana. All three were released on their own recognizance early Friday morning, a District Court commissioner said.

* Town Center: 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway: A 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass stolen from The Mall's parking lot in Columbia Wednesday morning was recovered at the Truckers' Inn in Jessup the same day, police said.

* Wilde Lake: 5100 block of Brook Way: Car thieves stole three vehicles early Wednesday. They included: a green 1993 Dodge Shadow with Florida tags NBC68R; a white 1992 Chevrolet LeBaron with Maryland tags AWV 975; and a maroon 1993 Dodge Shadow with Maryland tags BGR 024, police said.
