THEFT: Central District -- Someone entered the room of a patient at Mercy Medical Center in the 300 block of St. Paul St. Tuesday and stole a wallet containing $250, identification cards and a driver's license from a nightstand.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1981 Buick with tags PVK 592 was stolen from the 2200 block of Roslyn Ave. Wednesday.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A VCR and TV set, all valued at nearly $1,300, were stolen from a house in the 2400 block of Garrison Blvd. Wednesday.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 3000 block of Oakford Ave. of $40 in the 3800 block of Reisterstown Road Wednesday.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Stereo equipment valued at $500 was stolen from a car being stored at the city's impounding lot in the 6700 block of Pulaski Highway Wednesday. Also on Wednesday, someone stole a radio valued at nearly $300 from a 1987 Dodge Omni that also was stored at the lot.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A man with an unknown weapon robbed Precision One, a pawnshop in the 5300 block of Frankford Ave., of property valued at more than $2,000 Wednesday.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking a man who stole property valued at more than $100 from Radio Shack in the 5000 block of Sinclair Lane Wednesday.

SCHOOL BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- Police responding to a burglary in progress at Frederick Douglass High School in the 2300 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway Wednesday morning arrested a teen-age boy who had entered through a basement window. He had stolen a school mailbag, a trophy and other property, all valued at more than $100.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1800 block of Riggs Ave. Monday through a transom above a rear door and stole a shotgun and clothing, all valued at $800.

BURGLARY: Western District -- While the occupant of a house in the 2900 block of Parkwood Ave. was asleep Wednesday morning, someone entered his home and stole the kitchen sink.

Baltimore County

BANK ROBBERY: North Point Precinct -- A man robbed the Maryland National Bank in the 1500 block of Merritt Blvd. of an undisclosed sum Wednesday. After entering the bank at 1:50 p.m., the man gave a teller a note demanding all the $10s, $20s and $50 bills in her cash drawer. The note also warned the teller not to put a dye pack in the money and that he would shoot her if she did. No weapon was displayed. After he was given money, the man escaped on foot.

ROBBERY: Towson Precinct -- A 20-year-old woman, her child and boyfriend were inside the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in the 6700 block of N. Charles St. Wednesday when the adults became involved in an argument. During the argument, the man struck the woman and then stole her $900 bracelet before fleeing.

STOLEN CAR: Towson Precinct -- A green 1991 Ford Escort with tags 499 ATJ was stolen from the parking lot of the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in the 6700 block of N. Charles St. Wednesday.
