POLICE

* Westminster: An official of J&B Plumbing and Heating Services of East George Street reported someone broke into the business Tuesday and stole copper tubing and fittings valued at $600. The representative said the intruder also did an estimated $1,000 in damage to a motorcycle inside the building.

A resident of Mayfield Court told police someone stole his lawn mower from his house Tuesday. He estimated the loss at $343.

A resident of Johahn Drive reported someone stole a black and gray BMX bicycle valued at $90 from the rear yard of her house Sunday.

FIRE

* Westminster: Engines from Westminster reponded to a truck fire in the 200 block of Alymer Court at 10:17 p.m. Tuesday. Units were out for 31 minutes.

Firefighters from Westminster were dispatched to an auto fire on Route 27 at Spring Mills Road at 6:53 p.m. Tuesday. They were out for 15 minutes.
