* Elkridge: 6600 block of Amberton Drive: Someone threw a brick through a business' plate glass window and took petty cash and a cash box between Friday and Monday, police said.

* Ellicott City: 2900 block of Poland Springs Drive: Thieves stole a refrigerator and microwave oven from a house under construction after they broke a rear window for entry Sunday or early Monday morning. Police said the thieves also attempted to take the stove.

9100 block of U.S. 40: A black 1984 Toyota Camry four-door with Maryland tags TKF751 was stolen Monday, police said.

6300 block of Waterloo Road: A red 1981 Yamaha DH175 motorcycle and a white 1994 Yamaha PW50 motorcycle were stolen Sunday or Monday, police said.
