SHOOTING: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking two men who shot a resident of the 2700 block of Fenwick Ave. late Tuesday night. The 44-year-old victim was in an alley near the 2800 block of Fenwick Ave. when two men, one armed, attempted to rob him. The victim ran and was followed by the two men. When the victim was about to enter his home, the gunman fired at least two shots, hitting the man in the upper right arm and right thigh. The gunman and his accomplice fled. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in critical condition.

ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- A 15-year-old boy was stabbed with a fork during an argument with a girl in their home in the 1600 block of Veney Court. No arrest had been made, and the case remained under investigation.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- A walkie-talkie radio valued at $600 was stolen Monday from a construction site in the 5500 block of Bowleys Lane.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking a man who rented stereo equipment valued at $800 from Choice Rental in the 4400 block of Franconia Drive earlier in the month and failed to return it. A warrant was expected to be issued for the man's arrest.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1993 Chrysler LeBaron with tags ARY 585 was stolen from the 100 block of W. University Parkway Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A TV set and VCR, all valued at more than $500, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 700 block of Gorsuch Ave.

THEFT: Western District -- A 24-inch dirt bike valued at $50 was stolen from in front of a house in the 1400 block of Riggs Ave. Monday.

THEFT: Western District -- A man entered the storeroom of Sungorie's, a store at Mondawmin Mall, and stole 30 cartons of cigarettes, all valued at more than $500.

ROBBERY: Western District -- An 11-year-old resident of the 2800 block of Harlem Ave. was riding his bike in the 2700 block of W. Lanvale St. Tuesday when he was knocked to the pavement by an older boy who stole the bike, valued at nearly $100.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A 15-year-old resident of the 2200 block of W. North Ave. was sitting on the front steps of his home Tuesday when a youth he knows struck him in the face, seriously injuring the victim's mouth. The victim was treated at a hospital.

THEFT: Western District -- A power box for a cellular phone, the telephone and other property, all valued at nearly $300, were stolen Tuesday from a truck parked in the 1300 block of N. Fremont Ave.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4600 block of Reisterstown Road was walking in the 2900 block of Ridgewood Ave. early Wednesday morning when a man stole her purse containing $25.

BURGLARY/ARSON: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a garage in the 3700 block of Milford Ave. Tuesday and set fire to a car. The car, valued at $7,000, was destroyed. No arrest had been made in the case.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1994 Plymouth Voyager with tags 623749M was stolen from the 5500 block of Bosworth Ave. between Monday and Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a ma who assaulted a resident of the 5000 block of Denmore Ave. and robbed him of his beeper, valued at $50, during an incident near the victim's home Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4200 block of Groveland Ave. was about to withdraw money from an ATM at a bank in the 5700 block of Reisterstown Road Monday when a gunman approached and demanded her money. The woman drove away.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- Someone entered an apartment in the first block of Spindrift Circle through a bedroom window between Aug. 26 and Tuesday. It was not immediately known if any property was taken.


THEFT: Fallston -- A pair of sunglasses, compact disc player, compact discs and a razor, all valued at more than $500, were stolen from a Toyota parked in the driveway in the 2400 block of Hunt Place between Sunday and Monday.
