STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A red 1993 Dodge owned by an auto leasing firm on U.S. 40 in Catonsville, with Pennsylvania tags AJJ4345, was stolen from the 3200 block of Plateau Ave. Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 3500 block of Fairview Ave. of cash and property, all valued at more than $300, in the 3500 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Tuesday.

ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who struck a female resident of the 2900 block of Allendale Road with an umbrella during an argument at the victim's home Tuesday. The woman was not seriously injured.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- Someone stole a 1992 zTC Ford Tempo with daily rental tags 26282 from the 5400 block of Nelson Ave. Tuesday.

CAB HOLDUP: Northwestern District -- A driver for the GI Veterans cab company was in the 3300 block of Fairview Ave. Tuesday when an unarmed passenger he picked up earlier robbed him of an undisclosed sum of money.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone stole a bike valued at ++ more than $100 from the front yard of a house in the 3300 block of Crossland Ave. Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 3400 block of Erdman Ave. by forcing a door, and stole stereo equipment, clothing and a TV, all valued at more than $2,000.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking four males who robbed a resident of the 4200 block of Harford Road of his mountain bike and other property, all valued at more than $600, near the victim's home Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A VCR valued at more than $100 was stolen from a closet at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in the 5400 block of Loch Raven Blvd. Tuesday.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 5400 block of Purdue Ave. Tuesday and stole a VCR valued at nearly $200.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Wicker furniture valued at nearly $300 was stolen from a house in the 6300 block of Walther Ave. Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2900 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway through a rear basement door Tuesday and stole property valued at more than $2,000.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3400 block of Woodland Ave. was in the 4400 block of Wabash Ave. Tuesday when a man armed with a gun robbed him of cash and property, all valued at more than $300.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 600 block of N. Arlington Ave. was walking in the 500 block of N. Fremont Ave. Tuesday afternoon when a man she knows robbed her of $11 after threatening her.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered an enclosed city-owned lot in the 2600 block of Franklin St. between Monday and Tuesday and stole a drain cleaning machine valued at $2,000 from a truck.

THEFT: Western District -- A battery-powered drill, battery pack and carrying case, all valued at more than $200, were stolen from a Dodge van owned by U.S. Fleet Leasing while it was parked in the 1800 block of Windsor Ave. Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- After a woman got off a bus in the 1800 block of W. North Ave. Monday, two men attempted to steal her purse. When the woman, a resident of the 1900 block of Herbert St., struggled to keep the purse, one of the men struck her in the face with his fist. She continued to hold onto her purse until the second man pulled out a handgun and pointed it at her. The men fled with the purse, which contained an undisclosed sum of money.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2800 block of Guilford Ave. Tuesday and stole a chain saw and an AM-FM radio, all valued at more than $300.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 13-year-old girl was walking in the 1000 block of St. George's Road Tuesday when a gunman threatened to kill her before robbing her of a Minnie Mouse ring valued at less than $30.

THEFT: Northern District -- A cellular phone valued at nearly $400 was stolen from a 1994 Ford parked in the 5100 block of York Road Monday.

THEFT: Northern District -- Two Bell Atlantic pay phones, valued at $500 each, were stolen from the 2900 block of Greenmount Ave. between Monday and Tuesday.

THEFT/ARRESTS: Western District -- Police arrested two men who stole an aluminum storm door from a house in the 1700 block of Braddish Ave. Tuesday. The suspects were being held pending a bail hearing.

THEFT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who stole a VCR and a TV video game, all valued at nearly $600, from a house in the 2700 block of W. Baltimore St. after the occupant allowed the man to stay there over the weekend.

STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A silver and blue 1986 Lincoln Town Car with tags ZES 625 was stolen from the 2300 block of Laurens St. Tuesday.
