1. GYC Builders has opened the final section of Deer Creek, 10 miles north of Bel Air in Harford County, where the company is building two different two-story traditional homes on two- to eight-acre lots next to Deer Creek.

Buyers have the option of purchasing a lot, starting at $65,900, and selecting their own builder.

The Country Manor House, a two-story traditional home with 3,040 square feet of living space and a base price of $325,000 is the GYC model at Deer Creek.

A large wraparound porch leads to an 11-by-10-foot two-story foyer with oak flooring. The foyer is flanked by a 13-by-10-foot library on the right and a 14-by-14-foot living room on the left.

The living room and the 15-by-13-foot living room have access to the 16-by-12-foot solarium.

A 20-by-13-foot family room with a wood-burning fireplace, 13-by-12-foot kitchen with a cooking island, 11-by-10-foot breakfast room, powder room and side-entry two-car garage complete the first floor.

Upstairs, the master suite has a 17-by-14-foot bedroom, walk-in closet and bath with his-and-her vanities, a soaking tub and separate shower. A laundry room, linen closet, three additional bedrooms and a second full bath are also found on the second floor.

GYC is also building the Hunting House, a 2,807-square-foot home with a starting price of $289,900, at Deer Creek.

The sales center is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Monday. Take I-95 North to Exit 77 toward Bel Air. Go North on U.S. 1 to a left on Ady Road (Route 543) to Deer Creek four miles on the left.

The Taylor Michelle has 3,180 square feet of living space and a starting price of $350,900. The first floor has a 14-by-23-foot kitchen/breakfast area with an angled center cook island, pantry and adjacent laundry room.

A powder room, two-story foyer, 15-by-18-foot family room which opens to the second floor, 12-by-11-foot library, 12-by-14-foot living room, 10-by-15-foot dining and two-car garage complete the entry level.

The second floor includes a master suite with a 19-by-18-foot bedroom, walk-in closet and bath with his-and-her vanities, soaking tub, separate shower and toilet with privacy door. There are three more bedrooms and a second full bath.

With 2,440 square feet and a base price of $303,900, the Megan Lynn is Landmark's smallest home at Seminary Ridge. It has four bedrooms, two full baths and one half bath.

The largest house offered is the Chase Presidential at 4,040 square feet. It has a morning room, loft, four bedrooms, two full baths and one half-bath and a base price of $403,900.

The sales center is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Take York Road North to a left on Seminary Avenue, to the sales center about two miles on the right.
