Man is charged with solicitation

A county detective working a sting operation in Sawmill Creek Park arrested a Severna Park man for allegedly making sexual advances to him Friday afternoon, county police said.

Police said the incident occurred in a store restroom at the Marley Station mall after a man asked Detective Roger Crawford to follow him there from the park.

Robert Jones Fullerton, 54, of the 700 block of Brackley Road was charged with indecent exposure, two counts of solicitation and an attempted fourth-degree sex offense, police said.

North Arundel auxiliary gives hospital $33,000

At a recent awards banquet, North Arundel Hospital Auxiliary presented the hospital with a check for $33,000.

The check represents proceeds from bazaars, book sales, and gift shop and thrift shop sales.

At the gathering, several members of the auxiliary from Glen Burnie were awarded certificates and pins for their volunteer service:

Audrey Stein was honored for 30 years of service; Beverly Kuethe for serving 23,000 hours; Lena Brewer and Mary Bromble for serving 14,000 hours; Dolly Davis and Naomi Morgan for serving 13,000 hours; Mary Carrick for serving 12,000 hours; Azalea Moore for serving 11,000 hours; and Teresa Ferrari for serving 10,000 hours.
