THEFT/ARREST: Northern District -- Police arrested a man who attempted to leave Sunny's Surplus in the 3100 block of Greenmount Ave. Wednesday without paying for two pairs of jeans valued at $60.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 800 block of E. 33rd St. through an unlocked front door and stole stereo equipment, a microwave oven, watches and a clock.

THEFT: Northern District -- A resident of the 4800 block of Laurel Ave. went into her home to retrieve some property Wednesday and left a book bag containing college textbooks valued at nearly $400 unattended next to her car. When the woman returned, she noticed a man walking down the street with the items.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3600 block of Fords Lane was walking near her home Wednesday when a man stole her purse containing a small sum.

CHURCH BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered the New Hope & Life Church in the 5200 block of Reisterstown Road through a side window between Sunday and Wednesday and stole property valued at more than $1,000.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A beige 1991 Plymouth with tags ZBD 910 was stolen from the 5500 block of Peerless Ave. between Tuesday and Wednesday.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2900 block of Glen Ave. through the front door between Tuesday and Wednesday and stole property valued at nearly $300.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at $60 was stolen from a house in the 3700 block of Parkview Ave. Wednesday by someone who entered through the front door.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A lawn mower valued at $200 was stolen from a garage in the 3700 block of Yolando Road through an unlocked door Tuesday.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- A baseball card collection valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from a car parked in the 3200 block of Loch Raven Blvd. Wednesday after a window was broken.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone entered the room of a 77-year-old resident at the Good Samaritan nursing center in the 1600 block of E. Belvedere Ave. between Tuesday and Wednesday and stole a gold ring, coins and a china bowl.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone entered the storeroom at Mr. Tire in the 3800 block of Erdman Ave. Tuesday and stole 10 automobile shock absorbers.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- A 20-inch bike valued at more than $100 was stolen from the 1300 block of Gittings Ave. Wednesday.

STOLEN CAR: Towson Precinct -- A green 1994 Honda Accord with tags TMY 034 was stolen from the 1700 block of Glen Ridge Road early yesterday.

STOLEN CAR: Towson Precinct -- Someone stole a maroon 1991 Pontiac Sunbird with tags ANE 640 from the 800 block of Fairmount Ave. Wednesday.

ROBBERY: Garrison Precinct -- Two men who implied they were armed robbed the Sizzler restaurant in the 100 block of Reisterstown Road in Pikesville of an undisclosed sum Wednesday night before driving off in a gray Lincoln.

ROBBERY: Garrison Precinct -- Police were seeking two women, one armed with a handgun, who robbed the Royal Farm Store in the first block of Chartley Drive Wednesday night of less than $100.

BURGLARY: Garrison Precinct -- Household property worth more than $5,000 was stolen from a house in the 100 block of Maybin Circle in Owings Mills Wednesday by someone who entered through a sliding glass door.

STOLEN CAR: Garrison Precinct -- A 1989 BMW 535 with tags RMX 691 was stolen from the Metro parking lot in the 4400 block of Milford Mill Road Wednesday.

STOLEN CAR: Garrison Precinct -- A 1985 Oldsmobile Delta 88 with tags AES 366 was stolen Wednesday from the 100 block of Slade Ave.
