Land surveyor joins the firm of McCrone, Inc.

Timothy Martin, Professional Land Surveyor, has joined McCrone, Inc. in Annapolis, an engineering/environmental consulting and surveying firm.

A resident of Edgewater, Mr. Martin will be responsible for permit processing in such fields as critical areas and light commercial site development in the Central Maryland Region.

A graduate of Frostburg State University, Mr. Martin holds a bachelor of arts degree in geography-cartography and urban planning. He has designed and managed projects for state and local government agencies in addition to private developers and has served as project surveyor for several subdivision, site and grading projects in Anne Arundel County.

Louise Schultz earns advanced designation

M. Louise Schultz, a sales associate with Long and Foster Realtors in the Severna Park Office, has earned the Graduate Realtor's Institute designation of advanced real estate education.

A Severna Park resident for over 25 years, Ms. Schultz is a 13-year real estate professional. She is an active member of the Anne Arundel County Association of Realtors and has frequently been cited as a top real estate producer.

Weichert names top sales associates

Jerry Brice and Judy Leichtman were named July's top producers for the Annapolis office of Weichert Realtors.

Willie Enright was named the month's top lister. Mr. Brice also was named the top dollar volume sales associate.

Joan Craft, a sales associate with the Annapolis office, has graduated from the company's Academy of Real Estate post-licensing course, which offers training in financing, marketing, listings and sales. Company sales associates enroll in the three-week program after completing the required state licensing course for residential real estate sales.

Homestead Gardens announces changes

Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville has appointed Kelly Colleran as chief financial officer.

Don E. Riddle Jr., the company's president and chief executive officer, has been named to the board of directors of the Garden Centers of America.

A certified public accountant, Mr. Colleran previously worked at the accounting firm, C. W. Amos, for 11 years. He replaces Doris Dawson-Tucker, who will take another administrative position in the company.

As a member of the board of directors of the leading garden association in the U.S., Mr. Riddle will help make policies for the nursery industry.

Hannsz named June top producer

The Annapolis office of Long & Foster Real Estate has named sale associate Janet Hannsz the top producer for June.

A 20-year veteran of the real estate profession, Ms. Hannsz holds a degree in advanced real estate education from the Graduate Realtor Institute and is an active member of the Anne Arundel County Association of Realtors' Five Million Dollar Club.
