BURGLARY: Central District -- Someone broke into the Sun Mart in the 600 block of Laurens St. early yesterday after breaking a window and stole several watches and portable stereo equipment.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A driver for a trucking company was in the 100 block of Penn St. Tuesday night when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of keys.

ROBBERY: Central District -- An unarmed man robbed Four Star Video in the 1600 block of Park Ave. Tuesday night of an undisclosed sum.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 5700 block of Jonquil Ave. was riding her mountain bike in the 3600 block of Manhattan Ave. Tuesday night when she was stopped by a gunman who stole the bike and a video game.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A Baltimore County man was in the 2900 block of Rogers Ave. after leaving the Pimlico racetrack Tuesday afternoon when two men, one with a handgun, demanded money. When the victim told the pair he had none, the gunman struck him over the head with the weapon and took his keys. The men fled in the victim's gray 1986 Chrysler LeBaron.

STABBING: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking two men, one known as "Rock," in connection with the stabbing Tuesday night of a man in the 3900 block of Park Heights Ave. The victim, a resident of Cottage Avenue, was treated for a chest wound at Sinai Hospital.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 4500 block of Manordene Road between Tuesday night and early Wednesday and stole a TV set valued at nearly $250.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- A bike was stolen from the front porch of a house in the 600 block of N. Edgewood St. Tuesday.

THEFT: Northern District -- A bike was stolen Tuesday from the front of a house in the 3500 block of Elm Ave.

THEFT: Northern District -- A 26-inch, 18-speed bike was stolen Tuesday in the 400 block of E. 33rd St. while the owner was inside a store.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3200 block of Ellerslie Ave. Tuesday through an unlocked basement door and stole a TV set and an electric sander, all valued at more than $600.

THEFT: Northern District -- Police were seeking the person who stole a check for nearly $900 from a house in the 4800 block of Olney Road Tuesday and then cashed it at a bank after forging a signature.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A cordless telephone and several collectible bottles, all valued at more than $100, were stolen from a house in the 600 block of Cedarcroft Road Tuesday by someone who entered through an unlocked window.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 5900 block of Charlesmead Road through an unlocked front door Tuesday and stole a purse containing a pair of eyeglasses, a check book, $100 and an ATM card.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered the rear yard of St. Peter Claver Church in the 1500 block of N. Fremont Ave. Tuesday and stole a 40-foot extension ladder that was secured with a chain and lock.

BURGLARY BY TRICK: Western District -- Two men posing as city housing inspectors stole more than $600 and a Polaroid camera Tuesday from a house in the 700 block of N. Payson St. Following their instructions, a 75-year-old resident was knocking a bathroom hall so the inspectors could locate "hollow spots" -- but instead they were stealing the cash and camera.
