1. Lexington Homes has broken ground at Pleasant View Farms in Forest Hill in Harford County where the company is offering 10 different homes on one-acre lots. Electric heat pumps are standard, with propane gas heat offered as an option.

The model will be the Hampton, a two-story home with a first-floor master suite.

The house has 2,525 square feet of living space and a base price of $232,500.

A 14-by-18-foot bedroom, walk-in closet and bath with a soaking tub, separate shower and dual vanities are found in the master suite. Three more bedrooms and a full hall bath are located on the second floor. A fourth bedroom can be added.

A masonry, wood-burning fireplace is standard in the 14-by-19-foot family room. The first level also has a foyer with hardwood floors, 13-by-9-foot eat-in kitchen with Jenn-Air dishwasher and range and two-car garage.

Lexington's largest home at Pleasant View Farms will be the Stafford, a 2,800-square-foot Victorian farmhouse with a large wraparound porch and a starting price of $266,800.

This house is a scaled-down version of the Arlington, which won the People's Choice Award as the favorite of the 55,000 visitors to the nine Dream Homes '94 houses built in the Woodridge subdivision in Baltimore County.

The first floor has a two-story foyer, a 16-by-20-foot family room, 12-by-15-foot living room, 12-by-14-foot dining room, 10-by-13-foot study, 10-by-17-foot kitchen with work island and pantry, 10-by-14-foot breakfast area and powder room.

The information center is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sundays and by appointment.

The Rebecca Lauren model has a base price of $234,900. The first floor has a 15-by-11-foot kitchen, 19-by-15-foot family room, 10-by-13-foot dining room, 19-by-13-foot kitchen, a library and powder room.

The sales center is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. Take I-95 North to Route 24 North to a right on Route 924 to a right on St. Mary's Church Road to a right on Laurel Bush Road to the community on the left.
