* STOLEN CAR: Northeastern District -- A white 1992 Chrysler LeBaron with Maryland tags 785 AKT was stolen Tuesday from the 3700 block of Lyndale Ave.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Stereo equipment and a VCR, all valued at more than $800, were stolen from a house in the 500 block of Crenshaw Ave. Tuesday by someone who entered through a patio door.

* ASSAULT: Eastern District -- Police were seeking the persons who assaulted a man Monday night and left him for dead in the basement of a vacant house in the 1200 block of N. Broadway. After the victim's family received information about his whereabouts, police went to the house Tuesday night and found him. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital for treatment of multiple lacerations and listed in stable condition.

* STOLEN TRUCK: Northern District -- A 1968 Ford truck with Maryland tags 687765 was stolen from the 3500 block of Parkdale Ave. Tuesday.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 3400 block of Glen Ave. was in the 5000 block of Laurel Ave. Tuesday when a gunman robbed him of $20 and a beeper valued at $70.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Tools, bikes and lawn-care equipment, all valued at more than $4,000, were stolen from an outdoor storage shed in the 100 block of Taplow Road Monday.

* THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2800 block of Oakford Ave. Tuesday and stole a purse containing a wallet and cash.

* STOLEN CAR: Southwestern District -- A 1992 Plymouth with Maryland tags PYG 228 was stolen Tuesday from a park & ride lot at Interstate 70 near Security Boulevard.


* BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- Someone entered a house in the 3900 block of Millner Road through an unlocked door Monday and stole a camera, watch, VCR and a .38-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver, all valued at $600.

* SCHOOL BURGLARY: White Marsh Precinct -- Police were seeking a teen-age boy who entered Joppaview Elementary School in the 8700 block of Honeygo Blvd. Tuesday after breaking a window. No property was taken, but replacing the window cost $100.

* ROBBERY: North Point Precinct -- Police say a man entered his brother's home in the 1900 block of Tolson Ave. Tuesday night and robbed him of more than $200 at knifepoint. During the incident, the victim sustained minor injuries. A 40-year-old resident of the 3600 block of Sollers Point Road was being sought.

* STOLEN CAR: North Point Precinct -- A two-door gray 1982 Buick Regal with Maryland tags AZN 547 was stolen from the 7900 block of Bank St. Monday.

* CHURCH BURGLARY: Towson Precinct -- Someone with a key entered St. Stephen's Church of Christ in the 5900 block of York Road overnight Monday and stole a microwave oven, answering machine and telephone.

* BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- A mountain bike valued at nearly $200 was stolen from a mini-storage locker in the 1900 block of Green Spring Drive Tuesday.

* ROBBERY: Garrison Precinct -- A resident of the 1200 block of Carroll St. in South Baltimore was on a parking lot at Reisterstown Road and Waldron Avenue Tuesday when a gunman robbed him of his wallet and $20.
