A 51-year-old Brooklyn Park man died at Harbor Hospital Thursday morning after suffering a heart attack while driving his Ford truck on Carbide Road near Pittman Road, county police said.

Johnny Peyton Crane Sr., of the 500 block of Pontiac Ave., collapsed across the front seat of the truck. The vehicle swerved and hit the corner of a house, police said.

Paramedics took Mr. Crane to Harbor Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:30 a.m., police said.

Woman hit in face by bottle at bus stop

A 60-year-old Pumphrey woman was hit in the face with a bottle Wednesday afternoon as she stood at a bus stop on Ritchie Highway and Church Street, county police said.

Leavier Amealia Barber of Gibbons Avenue suffered a swollen right cheek and a cut lip, but did not require hospitalization, police said.

The incident happened just after 4 p.m. Ms. Barber told police she felt something hit her in the side of the face as she turned to look north. She noticed a black Chevelle with two men heading north and the bottle in the gutter. She could not provide police with a detailed description of either the car or the men.
