Small gathering rallies in favor of Haiti military

Only a few hundred Haitians marched yesterday in support of the military, which is so far withstanding increasing U.S. pressure to clear out of the Caribbean nation.

While the government's supporters marched in the streets, U.S. Marines rehearsed an invasion and rescue operation on Great Inagua Island, Bahamas, about 80 miles northwest of Haiti, Pentagon sources said in Washington.
