BALTIMORE CITY

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A firearm and electronic equipment, all valued at $600, was stolen Sunday from a house in the 3200 block of Elmora Ave.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Property valued at more than $700 was stolen from a garage in the 2900 block of E. Northern Parkway over the weekend.

* ROBBERY/ARREST: Northern District -- Police arrested a man who robbed a resident of the 700 block of E. 43rd St. of two gold rings at knifepoint during an incident near the victim's home Sunday.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 900 block of Belgian Ave. was near his home Sunday when a man with a sawed-off shotgun took his backpack and $60.

* ROBBERY/SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- An employee of Pizza Valley in the 5400 block of Park Heights Ave. was shot during a robbery Sunday that netted the gunman more than $100. The wounded employee was treated at Sinai Hospital.

* THEFT: Southwestern District -- Someone stole $100 from a cash register at Popeye's restaurant in the 4400 block of Edmondson Ave. Sunday.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* STAND-OFF/ARREST: Parkville Precinct -- Police arrested a 34-year-old resident of the Perry Hall Apartments in the 8800 block of Blairwood Road Sunday after he barricaded himself in his apartment and told police he was going to shoot himself. After nearly four hours, the man surrendered to members of the hostage negotiation team and was taken to Franklin Square Hospital for psychiatric evaluation. Police found no firearm in the apartment.

* CUTTING: North Point Precinct -- A Turners Station resident was cut on the left arm during an incident on Honeysuckle Court Sunday. The assailant was being sought.

* VANDALISM: North Point Precinct -- Someone overturned six tombstones at the Beth Isaac Cemetery in the 100 block of German Hill Road over the weekend. One of the stones was damaged.

* RAPE: North Point Precinct -- Police were seeking a man who picked up a female hitchhiker Sunday and drove her to the parking lot of a car wash on German Hill Road and raped her. The man then drove the woman to Eastpoint Mall. Police were seeking a green Chevrolet Cavalier.

* BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- A basketball and a Polaroid camera, all valued at more than $60, were stolen from a shed at the Pine Ridge Swim Club in the 9200 block of Old Harford Road over the weekend.
