Town to ask donations for room use

June 27, 1994

Businesses and individuals wishing to use meeting facilities at Union Bridge Town Hall will not have to pay a fee, but will be asked to make a donation for the service.

The Town Council decided last week that it did not want to charge a rental fee but that seeking a donation would be appropriate, Clerk-Treasurer Kathleen D. Kreimer said.

Nonprofit groups, such as the the Heritage Committee, can use the facilities free.

Uniontown: New Windsor, Union Bridge and Taneytown responded to a house fire in the 3400 block of Uniontown Road at 8:12 p.m. Thursday. Units were out for 35 minutes.
