* AUTO THEFT: Towson Precinct -- A juvenile, who was driving a stolen 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix, was arrested Saturday evening after police spotted him driving erratically in the 1000 block of York Road.

* AUTO THEFT: Cockeysville Precinct -- A 1989 Mazda RX-7 was stolen between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday at 1966 Greenspring Drive in Timonium. A witness saw the car being driven off but could not describe the suspect.

* BREAKING AND ENTERING: Cockeysville Precinct -- A money clip and $810 were stolen from a room at the Hunt Valley Inn, 245 Shawan Road, between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday. Police have no suspects.

* BREAKING AND ENTERING/BATTERY: Essex -- A resident of the 400 block of Catherine Ave. was awakened at 12:45 a.m. yesterday by a man punching him in the face. The man reportedly kicked in the door to his residence and confronted him, demanding money the man said he owed him. The two men fought, and police were called. The man was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, battery and destruction of property.

* AUTO THEFT/SHOPLIFTING: Essex -- Three people were arrested Saturday after allegedly shoplifting a cordless power drill from the Ames department store in Essex. The car they had parked in the department store parking lot, a maroon Ford Mustang, had been reported stolen on Thursday. Police found small amounts of suspected heroin in the vehicle. The three people were charged in the incident and were being held yesterday.
