BALTIMORE CITY

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A 33-year-old motorist parked his car in the 700 block of N. Fremont Ave. Tuesday, got out of the vehicle and began talking with a woman. While the two were talking, a man struck him with rocks and bottles and stole his 1992 Toyota with Maryland tags ZTH 454.

* BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man after a break-in at a firehouse in the 3500 block of Woodbrook Ave. Tuesday. No property was taken and charges against the man were pending.

* THEFT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who stole 12 lawn chairs, valued at nearly $500, from the back yard of the Camden Yards nursing home in the 1200 block of W. Fayette St. Tuesday.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- Police were seeking two men who entered a house in the 1700 block of W. Baltimore St. Tuesday and robbed the occupant of $50.

* STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A green four-door 1993 Chevrolet with Maryland tags RXT 105 was stolen from the 2300 block of N. Dukeland St. Tuesday.

* STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A light blue 1994 Dodge Shadow with Maryland tags BJE 533 was stolen from the 2600 block of Harlem Ave. Tuesday.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- Thirty-five cartons of various brands of cigarettes valued at more than $500 were stolen from Yummy's liquor store in the 2100 block of Pennsylvania Ave. Tuesday.

* THEFT: Southwestern District -- Tools valued at $1,000 were stolen from a warehouse owned by Frank Sours Inc. in the 3000 block of Washington Blvd. Tuesday.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A VCR valued at nearly $170 was stolen from a house in the 2400 block of Christian St. Tuesday.

* THEFT: Northwestern District -- A lawn mower valued at nearly $500 was stolen from a house in the 6000 block of Pimlico Road Tuesday.

* BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A cassette radio valued at $100 was stolen from Nia Techs in the 2900 block of Druid Park Drive Tuesday.

* THEFT: Northern District -- Porch furniture worth nearly $2,000 was stolen from the back yard of a house in the 3900 block of Cloverhill Road.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 300 block of E. 25th St. was in the 2600 block of St. Paul St. Tuesday when he was stopped by a man who demanded his money. After giving up an undisclosed sum, the man cut the victim with a knife. The victim was not seriously injured.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- A TV, VCR and a camcorder, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen from a house in the 2500 block of Edgecombe Circle North Tuesday.

* THEFT: Northwestern District -- A wedding ring, gold bracelet and a gold necklace, all valued at nearly $2,400, were stolen from a house in the 3500 block of Oakmont Ave. sometime between last December and this week.

* BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A mountain bike, cordless phone and a telephone answering machine were stolen from a house in the 4500 block of Wentworth Road Tuesday.

* BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A VCR valued at more than $200 was stolen from a house in the 4700 block of Ridgewood Ave. Tuesday.

* STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A burgundy 1992 Honda with Maryland tags ZSM 310 was stolen from the 3600 block of Rogers Ave. Tuesday.

* PURSE SNATCH: Northwestern District -- A woman was walking in the 6700 block of Reisterstown Road Tuesday when a young man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $50.

* PURSE SNATCH: White Marsh Precinct -- A resident of the 100 block of Aspinwood Way was in the 6600 block of Ridge Road Tuesday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $40.

* THEFT: Parkville Precinct -- Two handguns, a .22 caliber and a .38 caliber, valued at more than $400, were stolen from a house in the 9900 block of Finney Road this month.

* BURGLARY: Towson Precinct -- Silverware valued at more than $6,400 was stolen from a house in the 6400 block of Murray Hill Road Tuesday.
