POLICE

* Westminster: A resident of South Center Street told city police someone stole a tire and damaged the other three on her auto while it was parked near her home Monday. She estimated the loss and damage at $200.

A resident of Palmsetta Court told city police someone got into her car while it was parked on North Court Street and stole items valued at $200 Monday.

A resident of Westminster reported to city police that someone stole her purse while she was shopping at the Locust Mall on Monday. She estimated the loss at $50.

A resident of Bachman Valley Road told state police that someone entered her home Monday and stole a chain saw, weed cutter and a tiller. The owner was unable to estimate the loss.

FIRE

* Westminster: Westminster and Reese investigated an automatic fire alarm at Carroll County General Hospital at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday. Units were canceled after two minutes.
