MVA reduces Saturday hours

June 09, 1994|By From Staff Reports

GLEN BURNIE -- Five state Motor Vehicle Administration's express offices now close two hours earlier on Saturdays.

The five offices are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. A sixth, Charles Center Metro, is closed Saturdays.

The offices are in Towson in Baltimore County, Columbia in Howard County, Landover Mall in Prince George's County, and Glenmont and Walnut Hill in Montgomery County. MVA officials said the offices are not busy enough in the late afternoon to justify the extra two hours.

They are open from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. weekdays, except for Charles Center, which is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
