Boston Red Sox -- Acquired P Keith Shepherd from the Colorado Rockies for P Brian Conroy.

Cincinnati Reds -- Signed P C. J. Nitkowski, OF Tony Terry and C Anthony Boyette. Assigned Nitkowski to Double-A Chattanooga, Terry to Rookie League Billings and Boyette to Rookie League Princeton.

Houston Astros -- Agreed to terms with C Ramon Castro and P Scott Elarton.

New York Mets -- Activated OF Kevin McReynolds from the 15-day DL. Placed OF Rick Parker on the 15-day DL, retroactive to May 29.

Texas Rangers -- Signed C Kevin Millican.
