9 are charged after drug raid in North Laurel

Nine people were arrested on drug charges Friday night after Howard County police raided a North Laurel home.

Members of the police Tactical Section and the Street Drug Unit made the arrests at the home in the 9100 block of Bryant Ave. at 10:25 p.m. Officers seized crushed aluminum cans converted to smoking pipes, plastic bags, baking soda, a weighing scale, a rock of crack worth about $50, marijuana residue and seeds, illegal fireworks and $214, police said.

All nine people were charged with possession of cocaine, possession of paraphernalia and related charges, police said.

Glenn Meredith Bunn, 43, the resident of the house, was released on $1,000 bond on Saturday.

Released on personal recognizance were: Mary Ann Kent, 29, of the 300 block of Laurel Ave.; Gary Edward Fearrington, 44, of the 9500 block of Sea Shadow, Columbia; Eric John Kymingham, 34, of the 600 block of Park Ave., Laurel; Lisa Marie Poole, 26, of the first block of Ruth Ave., Laurel; and Daniel Joseph Telenka 3rd, 28, of the 9100 block of Bryant Ave.

Calvin Tyrone Cager, 32, of the 9200 block of Lapwing Court, Columbia, was released on unsecured bond.

Police said Robert Eugene Cook, 24, of the 8800 block of Guilford Road, Columbia, was found to be wanted on drug charges in Prince George's County. Teresa Ann Deluca, 29, of the 300 block of Old Line Drive, Laurel, was wanted for violation of parole and failure to appear in court in Prince George's County, police said. Both were released on unsecured bonds in connection with the Friday drug charges, police said.

* Savage: 9300 block of Breamore Court: Police said a burglar stole a purse and VCR from a home as residents slept sometime Saturday night or early Sunday morning. The purse was found with cash missing behind the victims' home.
