Milwaukee Brewers -- Activated P Bill Wegman and P Jose

Mercedes from the 15-day DL. Optioned 3B Jeff Cirillo to Triple-A New Orleans. Placed P Jeff Bronkey on the 15-day DL retroactive to May 25.

Montreal Expos -- Signed from last June's amateur draft: P David Moranga from Sacramento City Community College and P Chris Weidert from Butler County Community College in El Dorado, Kan.

Bowie Baysox (Double-A) -- Announced that OF Rob Lukachyk was named Eastern League Player of the Week for the week ending May 29. Lukachyk batted .375 (9-for-24) for the week with four home runs and 12 RBI in six games. He added a triple and two stolen bases and scored eight runs.
