Members sought for referendum panel

Columbia Council members are seeking volunteers for a committee that will recommend procedures to implement the council's new policy on advisory referendums.

The committee is being formed to recommend specific procedures for the advisory votes, including the wording of the ballots and advertisements, validation of the petitions and creation of a budget.

A letter outlining interest and qualifications should be sent to the Columbia Council, Advisory Vote Committee, 10021 Wincopin Circle, Suit 100, Columbia, 21044.
