POLICE

* Westminster: A resident of Monroe Street told police someone shattered the rear window of his auto by throwing a bottle against it Tuesday. The vehicle was parked at the owner's house, and he estimated the damage at $400.

A resident of East Green Street reported someone broke a window in his garage Sunday. He estimated the damage at $50.

FIRE

* Westminster: Volunteers from Westminster responded to an auto fire in the 100 block of Englar Road at 9:12 a.m. Wednesday. They were out for 38 minutes.

* Pleasant Valley: Firefighters from Pleasant Valley cleaned up after an accident at Cherrytown Road and Route 97 at 7:31 a.m. Wednesday. They were out for 56 minutes.

* Reese: Firefighters from the Reese station responded to a grill on fire at a house in the 1900 block of Bethel Road at 5:07 p.m. Tuesday. They were out for 12 minutes.
