* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Property valued at $300 was stolen from a house in the 3800 block of Mayfield Ave. Tuesday by someone who entered through a rear door.

* BURGLARY: Central District -- Someone entered a home in the 2000 block of Druid Hill Ave. through the front door Tuesday and stole jewelry.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3900 block of W. Cold Spring Lane was struck in the face during an argument near his home Monday with a man he knows who also robbed him of nearly $40.

* STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A white 1987 Toyota Corolla with Maryland tags AJH 866 was stolen from the 2800 block of Keyworth Ave. Monday.

* STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1988 Chevrolet with Maryland tags NYC 399 was stolen Tuesday from the 3600 block of Hayward Ave.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the Texaco service station in the 5500 block of Falls Road Tuesday of an undisclosed sum of cash and merchandise.

* THEFT: Northern District -- Three suits valued at nearly $1,300 were stolen from a car parked in the 300 block of E. 25th St. Tuesday. Also taken was the vehicle's registration.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Two 3-speed bikes and a pitch fork, all valued at more than $700, were stolen from a storage shed in the 200 block of Stoneyford Way Tuesday.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men entered a house in the 3900 block of Hickory Ave. Monday and stole $200 from a table.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A passenger in a car was pulled from the vehicle in the 500 block of Chateau Ave. Monday by two men who robbed him of more than $100 and assaulted him. The victim was treated at a hospital.

* SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 2500 block of Violet Ave. was seated in a car in the 1900 block of W. Baltimore St. Monday when he heard gunshots and felt pain. The man sustained a minor wound and refused medical treatment.

* ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 1400 block of N. Carey St. was treated at the Liberty Medical Center for injuries received when he was attacked by two men, one with a cane, during an incident near his home Monday.

* STABBING: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who stabbed a resident of the 1200 block of W. North Ave. in the lower back with a knife during an incident near the victim's home Tuesday. The victim was treated at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center and listed in good condition.


* ROBBERY/ARREST: Essex Precinct -- Police arrested Baltimore City man and charged him with robbing a resident of the first block of Skipjack Court of more than $1,000 Monday. Two other men were being sought. The trio entered the house at 3:40 a.m. Monday and robbed the 19-year-old victim of $1,200 at knife and gunpoint. During the robbery, the gunman fired a shot at the victim but missed. A description of one of the suspects led to the arrest of David Bishop, of the 700 block of Bethnal Road, on charges of armed robbery and attempted murder. Mr. Bishop was being held at the station pending a bail hearing.

* BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- Someone entered a home in the 13700 block of Jarrettsville Pike through a rear door Monday and stole clothing from a bedroom.
