Bays Tonight

May 20, 1994

Opponent: Philadelphia Freedom

Site: Marple Newtown Stadium, Pa.

Time: 8

Outlook: The Bays (1-3) are hoping their two-week layoff will help them turn things around against a 2-4 Philadelphia team that lost to the Richmond Kickers, 2-1, on Saturday. Baltimore lost to the Kickers in its last outing on May 7, but Bays coach Kevin Healey says that his team continues to show progress despite its record. "We've given up some cheap goals, and we have to stop doing that and start finishing our opportunities," said Healey. Philadelphia, which has beaten Delaware and Connecticut, has only one player with more than one goal, Steve Thomas (two).
